We believe that the people we support have the same right as anyone else to pursue their dreams and transform their lives, living in, and contributing to, their local community. Your fundraising efforts can make this happen!
We need people like you to join our fundraising effort to bring much-needed support to people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism. Whether you want to take on a sponsored challenge, organise an event or ask for donations instead of presents for that special celebration, there are plenty of ways you can help. We’ll support you along the way to help you make the most of your fundraising activities.
How your donations can help?
- £15 could provide the support needed for a child to take part in a swimming session
- £50 for a child to take part in a 1 week holiday scheme
- £100 to fund an after-school art activity session for 10 children
- £270 for a personal development course for parents / carers
- £2000 to buy “learning disability” friendly computer kit
How will your support make a difference?
When you fundraise for Positive Futures, you can be guaranteed that your entire donation will be used within Northern Ireland. Your fundraising will provide the support that makes a real difference to the quality of someone’s life. That support can range from providing specialist equipment and support for people who have limited or no verbal communication, through to after school activities that develop a child’s social skills, increasing their self–confidence and gives mum and dad the chance for a break from their caring responsibilities.
Be Remembered For Your Kindness
We know that writing or updating a will is very personal and that providing for the people you love is your priority.
Once you have done that you might want to consider a gift to Positive Futures. Gifts of any size will make a huge difference to people with learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism.
